Warranty + Returns
We have a two-year (+1 when you register your speaker) warranty in the event of a technical malfunction, and we’ll repair or exchange the product free of charge within your term. We also have a 45-day return policy for Soundboks 3, 4 and Go. If you are not satisfied, you can return your purchase within 45 days. Want to know more?

Why doesn't my Soundboks 4 come with a charger?
Due to the EU Radio Equipment Directive, the Soundboks 4 no longer include a charger. This policy aims to reduce electronic waste by encouraging the use of existing USB-C chargers. If you need a charger, you can purchase The Charger separately.
Can I play my Soundboks 4 while charging with The Battery?
Yes, you can play your Soundboks while charging, even at full volume. This requires the official Soundboks The Charger or a USB-C PD compliant power supply capable of delivering at least 65W.
How has the audio quality of the Soundboks 4 been improved?
We completely revamped the sound quality for more bass, better mids, and crisper highs. This has produced a way fuller and rounder sound.
How much longer is the battery life on the Soundboks 4 than the Soundboks 3?
20% longer at full blast which is about 6 hours in total.
How has the grill design been changed on the Soundboks 4?
The new grill has smaller holes and an easy detachable mechanism that allows you to pop it off, paint it, and pop it right back on. It now comes in both Metallic Grey and Black.
What is the usual playtime on a Soundboks 4?
The Battery in the Soundboks 4 (compatible with all Soundboks speakers) lasts for ~40 hours when playing music at mid-volume and ~6 hours at full volume depending on the amount of bass frequencies being played.
Do I need to use the Soundboks app with the Soundboks 4?
Nope, but we highly recommend it. You can play music wirelessly and use TeamUP to connect other Soundboks speakers without it. However, without the app you won’t be able to access the sound and performance upgrades. You’ll also miss out on the advanced controls and EQ profiles. Plus you can’t use TeamUp to assign speaker roles, and that stuff is really cool.
What is an OTA and why should I care?
Over-The-Air Updates (OTA) via the Soundboks App help keep your Soundboks performing at its absolute best just like updates on your other devices (phones, tablets, laptops). In addition to pumping out new features and content, our team is constantly working to improve the Soundboks experience through OTAs.
Do I need to register my Soundboks in the Soundboks app?
You don't have to, but there are a few benefits to doing it. If you want an additional year of warranty (on top of the standard Soundboks 2-year warranty) or want access to the full world of Soundboks (additional speaker security and the awesome features we’re currently developing) then you need to register.
Why does a Bluetooth speaker need to be durable?
We don’t know what your shindigs look like, but our parties and events are unpredictable. That's why we designed the Soundboks to be ready for almost anything while still sounding full and loud. The reinforced build and rubber bumpers means it can handle impact like a champ. The internal components of the Soundboks have an IP65 rating (though the bass ports mean that it should never be fully submerged), and the electronics and battery can play in temperatures from -10 to +40 °C (+14 to +104 °F).
Can I connect multiple Soundboks speakers wirelessly?
With TeamUp mode, absolutely. Using the amazing SKAA (pronounced like the musical genre) technology, your Soundboks can Host up to 4 Soundboks speakers in Join mode. You can also Join any Soundboks speakers that are in Host mode.
Can I connect instruments and microphones to the Soundboks 4?
You bet. The Soundboks 4, like Soundboks 3, includes the ProPanel with microphone (XLR) and mixer/instrument (TRS) inputs.
